This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Once your account is deleted, your vault content and all associated data are permanently removed. There is no way to recover deleted accounts or their contents.
How to Delete Your Account
Submit Request
Confirm your identity and submit a deletion request from account settings or by contacting privacy@nextcalm.com.
Account Deactivated
Your account is immediately deactivated. Your encrypted data is deleted from live systems.
Permanent Deletion
Encrypted backups are permanently deleted within 30 days. Deletion is complete and irreversible.
What Gets Deleted
- All vault documents, photos, and files
- Personal messages and recipient settings
- Profile and account preferences
- Connected session tokens and devices
What We Retain
- Billing records required for legal compliance
- Security and fraud logs for the legally required retention period
Delete Your Account
Submit this form using your account email. We verify the request and begin the deletion workflow immediately.
What Gets Deleted
Your account and all associated vault data will be permanently removed. This includes all documents, messages, recipient settings, and personal information stored in your vault.
Cancellation vs Deletion
Cancellation stops billing and deactivates your account — your data is retained for 90 days in case you return. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Data Export First
Before deleting, we recommend exporting your vault data. You can export in CSV, PDF, or JSON format from your account settings.
